Just when I think Laura Farms couldn’t possibly top her previous content… she surprises us again with another gem!
That b-roll and drone footage over the river? Absolutely next-level. Laura continues to be such a fantastic ambassador for both our state and for Midwest farming — simply irresistible! And of course, full credit to Grant, who’s clearly living his best life right alongside her. Thank you both for sharing such wonderful, authentic content with us time after time.
Thank you for disking the Platte River with us!
We truly enjoyed the curiosity and excitement you and Grant brought to our morning.
A quick note for Laura:
Those small engines are called hit-and-miss engines. The yellow tractor you featured is a McCormick-Deering — one of the early International Harvester models. The yellow paint indicates it was likely an industrial tractor rather than a standard farm tractor. And that quirky little car? That’s a doodlebug — a homemade tractor or farm runabout, basically the original side-by-side! They were typically built from Model T or Model A Fords, using kits you could order from Sears & Roebuck.
